____________________________________________________________

Dear Preble County Residents:

I am happy to announce that we will again be sponsoring the ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY program. Community response is critical to the reduction of litter and the preservation of public land in our country and on our county highways. This program is designed to reduce the accumulation of trash and debris along Preble County roadways. You, along with your friends and neighbors, can agree to "Adopt" A Highway. Essentially, your group can agree to clean up a two mile stretch of highway at least twice a year for a period of two years. In addition to cleaning roadways in your community, your civic work will draw positive media coverage for your group. More importantly your work will save tax dollars and help keep Preble County highways pleasant to drive. In addition, a sign stating the group name will be placed in your designated pick up area to recognize your group's efforts in cleaning that area.

Please consider becoming a part of this important community service.

Sincerely,

Preble County Ohio
