Preble County seeks comments on Four Bridge Replacements scheduled in 2013.

The Preble County Engineers Office is proposing to replace four structurally deficient bridges; Barnets Mill Road (CH 80) Somers Township, Concord-Fairhaven Road (TR 218) Dixon Township, California School Road (CH 18) Dixon Township, and Monebrake Road (TR 150) Washington Township.

Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2013. No through access will be allowed during construction. Traffic will be maintained through implemented and marked detour routes. A projected four month completion schedule is planned for each construction project.

The Preble County Engineers Office is seeking comments from the public about the social, environmental, and economic impacts of these proposed projects. Environmental impacts could include those involving archeological, architectural and ecological resources, hazardous materials and the general location of the project.
